Diane Strachen • 1957- 2010 Diane was born on January 7, 1957, a daughter of Donald and Audrey (Johnson) Kinzell in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Granville, ND, graduating from Granville High School in 1975. On February 11, 1975, Diane was united in marriage to James “Jim” Strachen in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where Diane worked for Trinity Hospital, Healthcare Accessories, Copperhead Corporation and ASI. Diane enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her pride and joy was her grandchildren. Holidays were especially important to her, as she enjoyed visiting with relatives. She enjoyed sitting on her swing, and working with her flowers. Those who shared in her life: Husband of 35 years, Jim, Minot; son: Chad (Trish) Strachen, Minot; daughters: Candy (Lonn) Satran, Minot, and Brianna Strachen, Minot; three grandchildren: Tanner Satran, Kyler Satran and Cheyann Strachen; father: Donald Kinzell, Granville, ND; siblings: Donna (Dick) Lundy, Granville, Gail (Kenny) Benjamin, Minot, Lori (Ricky) Swallers, Medicine Lake, MT; Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Kinzell, brother, Gary Kinzell, mother-in-law, Erma Strachen, father-in-law, Raymond Strachen; infant siblings, Gloria and Donald.
