Paulette F. Steen 1948 - 2005

Paulette F. Steen, 56, 1103 17th Ave. NW, Minot, died Friday, January 7, 2005, in a Minot hospital.

She was born on April 14, 1948, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Herle L. and Bernice M. (Frye) Johnson. She was reared and educated in Minot.

Paulette was once married to Howard Steen. The couple had three children, LaDonna, Paul and LaManda. Paulette and Howard remained close friends throughout the years.

Paulette was a very caring mother not only to her children but she was also a daycare provider for over 15years. Most recently she was employed at Trinity Homes in Minot until ill health forced her to retire.

Paulette loved singing, dancing, bingo and camping. Her family was especially important to her and they all will dearly miss her.

Survivors: son, Paul Steen, Minot; daughters, LaDonna (Troy) Brezden, Minot, ND, and LaManda Steen, Minot; granddaughters, Miranda, Mehlia, Madison; brothers, Clyde (Diane) Johnson, Socorro, NM, Delwin (Clara) Johnson, Fairbanks, AK, Lyle (Mrya) Johnson, Bismarck, ND; sister, Ardith (Alvin) Engelhard, Mesa, AZ; numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herle and Bernice, and sister, Imogene Mehlhoff.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.

There will be no reviewal but friends may sign a register book on Monday, January 10, 2005, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial will take place in the spring of 2005 at the Fairview Cemetery in Glenburn, ND.
