Diane Stebleton, 63, Minot, ND, passed away Monday, May 11, 2009, in a Minot hospital.

Diane Mavis Berglund was born May 9, 1946, a daughter of Victor and Gladys (Fugelberg) Berglund, in New Rockford, ND. She was raised and educated in Sheyenne, ND, graduating in 1964. She was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Sheyenne.

She then attended beauty school in Minot and worked for several years as a beautician.

Diane married Larry J. Stebleton September 4, 1965, in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where she worked as a daycare provider in her home. For the past 29 years, she had worked at Trinity Homes in Minot, most recently as the volunteer coordinator.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who enjoyed gardening, camping, attending theater events and plays at the college and at Mouse River Players.

Surviving family includes: husband of 43 years, Larry, Minot; son and daughter-in-law, Loren and Tammy Stebleton, Grand Forks, ND; daughter, Karen Erickson, Minot; four grandchildren, Dustin and Amanda Stebleton; and Ashley and Summer Erickson; brother, Virgil (Marlys) Berglund, Fargo, ND; sisters, Gloria (Norris) Rud, Sheyenne, ND, and Doris Ambers, Maddock, ND; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles, Roy, and Larry Berglund; one nephew, and three nieces; as well as one sister-in-law, and one brother-in-law.

Funeral: Friday, May 15, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
