Paul A. Stack 1923 - 2002 Paul A. Stack, 79, 3212 7th St. SW, Minot, formerly of Pick City, ND, died Monday, December 9, 2002, in a Minot nursing home. Paul was born August 11, 1923, in Garrison, ND, the son of Paul H. and Lucy (Price) Stack. He was reared and educated in Minot. He was employed with Westland Oil in Minot. On March 28, 1943, Paul entered the United States Army and served in the European Theater. He was honorably discharged on November 19, 1945. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. After his discharge Paul went to work for Firestone Tire and Service Center in Minot. Later he opened his own shop Paul's Brake Service in Minot. Paul married Delores Westrum on August 7, 1967, in Minot. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union and helped build power plants all over the United States. Paul retired in Pick City where he served on the City Council and was a former Mayor. He entered ManorCare Health Services in September of 2002. Paul was an avid golfer. He was once married to Marion Hanenberg. He was a member of the Iron Workers Local #793, and was a life member of the American Legion Post # 0281 and the Veterans of Foreign War Post #753. (Malcolm), Bottineau, ND; 18 grandchildren; step daughters; Sharon
(Jerry) Walks, Minot, Carol McGinley (Jim), Kelso, WA, and Vanessa
Eslinger (Terry), Dickinson, ND; brother, Harold (Sandy) Stack,
Madison, AL and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death
by his step-son, David Westrum, parents, brothers, Lawrence,
Edward, George and Delbert, sisters, Grace Westman, Flora Baker,
