Glenn Stack 1948- 2006


Glenn Stack, 58, Minot, died Thursday, May 25, 2006 in a Minot hospital.

Glenn was born on March 6, 1948, the son of Paul A. and Marion E. (Hanenberg) Stack, in Minot. He was reared and educated in the Minot area, graduating from Minot High School in 1966. He furthered his education at Minot State University, graduating in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting .

He began his accounting career at the Jay's Ford Tractor, Minot. He then went to work for the Farmer's Union in Beulah, Dickinson, Beltrami, MN, and Velva, where he worked at the time of his death.

Glenn enjoyed golfing, pool, darts and bowling. He also was a stock racecar driver at the Nodak Speedway from 1974-1980.

He was a member of the St. Leo's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus #1150, both of Minot.

He is survived by his mother and step-father: Marion (Robert) Eresman, Minot, ND; brothers: Gerald (Claudia) Stack, Greenwell Springs, LA; Doug Stack, Twin Valley, MN; sisters: Yvonne (Pete) Bicchieri, Colville, WA; Peggy (Gary) Eisenzimmer, Minot, ND; Gloria (Malcolm) Bedell, Bottineau, ND; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, maternal grandparents, Peter and Erna Hanenberg and paternal grandparents, Paul Stack and Lucy Larson.

Visitation: Monday, May 29, 2006 from noon until 6:00 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.

Vigil Prayer Service: Monday, May 29, 2006 at 6 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.

Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo's Roman Catholic Church, Minot.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
