Donald Soderberg 1927 - 2002

Donald Soderberg, 74, formerly of Berthold, died Monday, June 24, 2002, in a Stanley nursing home.

He was born July 7, 1927, on the family farm south of Berthold, ND, the son of Arthur and Minnie (Aschim) Arthur. At the age of nine he moved with his family to a farm north of Lonetree, ND. Attending his first few years of school in Berthold and then later graduating from Lonetree High School.

Don lived with his parents on the family farmstead where he farmed and ranched. He enjoyed hunting and trapping. Don would travel many miles to go to a rodeo he and enjoyed sports and helping young people in any way.

He attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Minot.

Survivors: aunt, Oranda Harte, Billings, MT; uncle, Emmett Achim, Sunburt, MT; numerous cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Minnie, and his sister, Idline Soderberg.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Visitation: Sunday, June 30, 2002 from Noon until 5 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot

Officiant: Rev. Carlyle Roth, St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Minot
