Myrtle R. Snippen 1912 - 2005

Myrtle R. Snippen, 92, 1000-2nd St. SE, Minot, ND, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, in her home.

Myrtle Rosetta Snippen was born on August 15, 1912, the daughter of John H. and Emma (Lunden) Snippen on the family farm, at Roseglen, North Dakota. She was raised at Roseglen and attended school there, and also lived in Ryder. She moved to Minot in 1947. She was employed by Trinity Hospital in the laundry room for more than 15 years.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot, and was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Roseglen.

Surviving family includes: sister: Irene Nelson of Minot; sister-in-law: Thelma Snippen of Minot;
several cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Julia Snippen Hill; brothers, Maurice and Lawrence Snippen.

Funeral: Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Interment will take place at 2:00 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Roseglen, ND.

Visitation: Friday from Noon until 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials are preferred to Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.
