Doris Louise Smart • 1930 - 2007 Doris was born October 23, 1930 in Hobart, OK, the daughter of Randall and Letha (Moss) Smart. Ms. Smart was raised and educated in Oklahoma and lived there until her marriage to Carl B. Godsell. They moved to Wyoming for a while, later settling in California. She lived in several locations in California, including, Tracy and Modesto. She has worked in the medical field, bookkeeping, and office management until her retirement. She relocated to Minot, ND in 1993 to be closer to her family. Her husband Carl died November 6, 1993. Survivors: Son, Carl DeWayne Godsell, Minot; daughter, LaDonna Louise Casey, Canaan, NH; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl and her parents. A private burial will be held at a later time. |
