Barbara Ann Siemers 1915 - 2006 Barbara Ann Siemers, 90, Minot, formerly of Bowbells, ND, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, in a Mohall nursing home. She was born on October 27, 1915, in Bowbells, ND, the daughter of Simon and Anna (Owens) Lynch. She was raised on a farm in Burke County and educated in Bowbells. Barbara married Fredrick "Fritz" Siemers on November 16, 1931, in Bowbells. After their marriage, the couple farmed in Burke County until 1948. In 1948, they moved to Bowbells. During her lifetime she was a homemaker and also worked for a period of time at Klassen's Hardware in Bowbells. She and her husband were active in the United Methodist Church at Bowbells. Fritz died on November 18, 1986. After the death of her husband, Barbara moved to Minot, ND, where she lived until moving to the Mohall Nursing Home in 2004. She will be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother and special grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Bowbells. Survivors: daughters, Norma Spaude, Boise, ID, Carrie (Paul) Hinz, Fallon, NV and Marcella (Donald) Smith, Covington, VA; five grandchildren, Shari (Scott) Calvert, Michele (Matt) Reibsamen, Mike (Monica) Hinz, Stuart (Barbara) Smith, and Trent (Ilia) Smith; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Fritz, her parents Simon and Ann Lynch, brothers, Rob and Forest Lynch and sisters, Ross Farhart and Bella Ramadam. Funeral Service: Friday, March 10, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Methodist Church, Bowbells, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
