Sharon F. Shaw 1946 - 2002

Sharon F. Shaw, 56, 1924 Skyline Drive, Minot, died Thursday at her home following a battle with cancer.

She was born February 27, 1946, in Wildrose, ND, to Conrad and Lillian (Bjella) Danielson. She was reared and educated in Wildrose and graduated from Wildrose high School in 1964. On July 10, 1965, she married Erroll W. Shaw. They lived in Williston and Wahpeton before moving to Minot in 1968. She attended Joseph's School of Hair Design and received her cosmetology license.

Sharon stayed at home with her children and later worked as a hairstylist in the Minot area. She also worked as a Labor Standards Inspector for the North Dakota Labor Department, as a Drivers License Examiner for the North Dakota Department of Transportation, was a floral designer at Lowe's Floral and also worked at Sykes. She was most recently employed at ING, Minot.

She was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, Minot.

Survivors: husband, Erroll W. Shaw, Minot; son, Eric Q. Shaw, Minot; daughter, Tonya R. Shaw and fiancé Scott Tonnessen, Towner; granddaughters, Sierra Kaitlin and Erica Skyler; sisters, Bonnie (Bob) McClellan, Denver, CO and Clara Tubman, Williston and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Conrad Danielson.

Funeral: Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Minot.

Visitation: Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
