Bernice Sessing 1925 - 2006 Bernice Sessing, 80, Minot, ND, died Saturday, January 7, 2006, in a Minot nursing home. Bernice Alice Malcomb was born on February 5, 1925, the daughter of Walter and Viola (Vesey) Malcomb near Berthold, ND. She was raised and educated in the Berthold/Plaza area. She received her GED and had taken some college courses. She was once married to Thorfen Sessing on September 21, 1942. Together, they raised six children. She was employed at the Elks, Eagles Aerie, Moose Lodge and Minot Country Club. She also worked with the Meals on Wheels program, the Green Thumb, and with the National Senior Service Corps. She was a member of the Moose Lodge. She was a hard worker who loved people and driving and traveling with her friends. Surviving family includes: sons, Terry (Diana) Sessing, Minot, and Todd Sessing, Wahpeton; daughters, Bonita (Duane) Matcha, Albany, NY, Beverly Anderson, Strawberry Lake, ND, and Beth (Kraig) Brandt, Minot; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Dora Bloom, Minot; brothers, Donald Malcomb, Minot, Wayne (Jean) Malcomb, Apache Junction, AZ and Elmer Malcomb, Amity, OR; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy; brother, Durward Malcomb; and two infant sisters. A Private Family Service will be held on Tuesday, January
