Sue Seiber 1916 - 2004

Sue Seiber, 87, 305-8th Ave. NE, Minot, ND, died Monday, October 4, 2004, at a Minot nursing home.

Johnnie Susan "Sue" Seiber was born on December 29, 1916, in Hickman, Kentucky, the daughter of Paul and Fannie (Smith) White. She was raised and educated there.

Sue was married to John Seiber in 1933. The family moved to Benton Harbor, MI, in 1941. She moved to Chicago in 1961 and retired from the Sears catalog store in 1981. She then resided in Benton Harbor until moving to Minot in 1984. She resided at the Milton Young Towers until moving to Trinity Homes in August of 1999, where she remained active with all the various activities.

Sue enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, crossword puzzles, and watching wrestling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving family includes: daughter: Jewel (George) Tutton of Benton Harbor, MI; sons: Bobby Seiber of Benton Harbor, MI; and Edwin Seiber of Chicago, IL; grandchildren: Celia Sommerfeldt, Lewis Tutton, Mylissa Seiber, Christine Seiber, Laura Seiber, Elizabeth Seiber, Michael Seiber, David Badgley, Judie Badgley, Susan Knight, and James Badgley; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister: Orine Agnew of Memphis, TN; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, John Seiber; sons, William and Michael Seiber; daughter, Frances Badgley; and son-in-law, Reverend David Badgley.

Memorial Service: Thursday, October 7, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Homes Chapel, Minot.

Interment: North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma, Michigan.

There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the register book on Wednesday, from Noon until 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
