SCHWAN, Timothy (Tim) (Age 51)
He was born in Minot, North Dakota on July 3, 1957 to Edward and Barbara (Abrahamson) Schwan of Karlsruhe, ND. He attended Karlsruhe Elementary and graduated from Karlsruhe High School in 1976. He was the General Manager of Bergley Toyota in Grand Forks for several years. He spent the last 2 ½ years as a Marketing Representative for Consumer Portfolio Services in Savage, Minnesota. Tim was once married to Deb Bergley. He enjoyed his time at the lake cabin, golfing, working in the outdoors and spending time with the joy of his life, his grandson, Andrew. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Schwan. He
is survived by his two children, Nathan Schwan of Gilbert, Arizona
and Michelle Schwan of Grand Forks; his grandson Andrew Solberg,
Grand Forks, and his fiancé, Amber Cordahl of Savage,
Minnesota; father, Edward Schwan, Karlsruhe, six brothers and
one sister: Susanne (Bruce) Lennick, Newman Lake, WA; Steven
(Janet) Schwan, Thomas (Julie) Schwan, Adrian (Sandy) Schwan,
all of Bismarck, ND, William (Jennifer) Schwan, Powell, WY, Alex
(Deanne) Schwan, San Antonio, TX, and Christopher Schwan, Colorado;
A Vigil Prayer Service will be held at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2008 Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Karlsruhe on Tuesday, July 15 at 11 a.m. Burial: Sts. away unexpectedly on July 10, 2008 at a medical center in Edina,
Minnesota.
