Garrett Joseph Schwan 2002 - 2004

Garrett Joseph Schwan, 13 month old son of Patrick and Jennifer (Glaeske) Schwan, was called to be with our Lord and Savior on January 6, 2004.

He was born on December 2, 2002, in Minot. He brought joy and love to their lives. He was always in good spirits and could be found with a smile on his face, which often earned him the name "Mr. Smiley." Garrett was baptized on January 12, 2003 at St. John the Apostle Church, with Sheila and James Warner as his sponsors.

He is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents, Rev. Larry and Kay Glaeske, Noonan; paternal great-grandfather, Gordon Windle, Spokane, WA; maternal great-grandmother, Florence Luckow, Fairmont, MN and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Elise Schwan; maternal great-grandparents, Rudolph and Della Glaeske; maternal great-grandfather, Edwin Luckow and paternal great-grandparents, Fred and Mary Schwan.

Funeral Mass: Monday, 10:30 a.m. at St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, Minot.

Visitation: Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Sunday, 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Monday, 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Karlsruhe.
