Janet Schuler 1960- 2011
Janet Schuler, 50, Minot, ND, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in her home.
Janet was born on November 24, 1960 in Minot to Keith and Barbara (Sorensen) Bonebrake. She was reared and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1979. After high school, she worked with her father with Bonebrake Plumbing for a time before moving to Arizona. She moved back to North Dakota before moving to California.
She married Michael Schuler on April 8, 1989 in Escondido, California. They were blessed with two children, Grace who was born on August 26, 1989 in California and William who was born on March 19, 1993 in North Dakota. They moved to Velva and she later moved to Minot. Janet worked various jobs, including working for Inscom Software Company, e-Telacare and Kmart.
Janet loved her children and was a great mother. Janet was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, Minot. She loved her time at the lake, camping with her extended family and waterskiing. Michael and Janet were members of the Association of Harley Riders and they loved to ride, and made several trips to Sturgis, SD. She was a member of a pool league in Velva and loved to garden. She loved to spend time with her cat, Lily.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Grace (Christopher) Tittle, Minot, ND; son, William Schuler, Velva; mother, Barbara Bonebrake Mesa, AZ. Sisters, Sandra (Jeff) Boylan, Chandler, AZ and twin sister, Joan Doll, Mesa, AZ. She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Bonebrake, grandparents, William, Doris and Ann Bonebrake, and James and Matilda Sorensen.
Funeral: Monday, February 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND
Interment: Will be private
There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign a register book from noon until 5 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot on Sunday and prior to the service on Monday.
