Henry F. Schollmeyer 1923 - 2005 Henry F. Schollmeyer, 82, Minot, died Monday, February 21, 2005, in a Minot nursing home. He was born on January 19, 1923, the son of James and Bertha (Doerner) Schollmeyer on the family farm near Dunn Center, ND. He attended the county school for a short time. At the age of 11 he entered Grafton State School and resided there and at San Haven Hospital until 1990, when he moved to a group home at the Minot Vocational Workshop to be closer to family. He was dearly loved by his parents and family, and was fortunate to have caretakers who understood, appreciated, and cared deeply for him. Survivors: brothers, James (Sue) Schollmeyer, Dickinson, ND, and Joseph and Alfred Schollmeyer, both Dunn Center; many nieces and nephews surviving. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Albert, Charles, and Louis Schollmeyer and his sister, Lucille Krieger.
