Helen Schneider • 1947 - 2010

Helen Schneider, 62, Minot, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 in a Minot nursing home.

Helen was born on October 2, 1947 in Fargo, ND, a daughter of Arnold and Mary Burke from Sherwood, ND. She was raised and educated in the Sherwood area.  

On June 14, 1978, Helen was united in marriage to Ivar Schneider. They made their home in the Mohall area until moving to Minot in 2006.

She is survived by: Husband, Ivar, Minot; children: Kimberlee Knudson, Little Rock, AR, Russell Knudson, Minot, Michael (Laura) Knudson, Minot and Mari Schneider, Minot and Anthony Schneider, Fort Collins, CO; seven grandchildren: three great-grandchildren: step sister: Betty Aarhus, Sherwood, ND;  Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Burke and Mary Burke Harkness, step father Aubrey Harkness, grandchildren Karlyssa Wagonhoffer and Blair Wagonhoffer.
 
Visitation: Wednesday from 2 pm until 4 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorial Service: Friday, May 21, 2010 at 10:30 am at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Burial: a private family burial will take place at a later time
