He was a member of St. Philomena’s Catholic Church in Glenburn, until moving to Minot where he joined Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Some of Donald’s happiest years were spent at the lake cabin, at Fish n’ Camp Court, near Parshall, ND.  Nearly every day he could be found somewhere on the lake trying to catch that big walleye or northern.  In his younger days he enjoyed chasing fox in his snowplane.
