Berniece Sagen • 1934 - 2007 Berniece was born August 26, 1934 in Douglas County, South Dakota to Albert and Elsie (Klipsch) Moke. She attended country school in Douglas County. While growing up she worked on the family farm. She worked as a waitress for several years and also helped care for the elderly. Berniece moved to Minot and on November 16, 1985, she married Roy E. Sagen. Roy died on March 5, 1993. Survivors: Sisters, Leona Stampe, Mitchell, SD and Lavonne Bracha, Forestburg, SD; brother, Wesley (Gelene) Moke, Belle Fouche, SD; also a very special friend, Ben Keller, Benedict, ND; numerous nieces and nephews survive. Berniece was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Evelyn Jendersee, and brother, Delmer Moke. Memorial Service: Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the guest register Saturday one hour prior to the service at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
