Betty Routledge 1925 - 2010 Betty was born October 28, 1925, to Henry and Hazel Milkey, in Los Angeles, California, moving later with her parents, to the Lansford area. There she attended rural school as well as Minot Model High School. It was at Lansford that she met the love of her life, Charles Routledge. They married on September 22, 1944 in First Baptist Church, Glenburn. When Charles completed his tour of duty with the United States Army, they made their home on a farm in Van Buren Township just west of Glenburn. Only recently, poor health had forced her to move to Manor Care and then into Trinity Homes in December. Betty enjoyed gardening and caring for her yard and flowers, cooking and baking, and reading, especially her Bible. She was a “prayer warrior” for all her family and friends. She was a 50+ year member of the First Baptist Church in Glenburn. Betty dearly loved her family and she centered her whole life around them.
