Ruth Rossow • 1909 - 2010 Ruth was born May 16, 1909, on a farm near Barton, ND, a daughter of Amund and Marit (Flaaten) Engeland. In 1921, the family moved into Barton and she later graduated from Rugby High School. She attended Minot State Teacher’s College and received her elementary education degree. She taught elementary education in Minot and at several area schools for over 25 years. Survivors: Son, Brian (Maxine) Rossow, Minot, and two nieces. Ruth was preceded in death by two sisters Funeral: A private service will be held. Visitation: Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
