Marion L. Rosenthal 1908 - 2003

Marion L. Rosenthal, 94, 305 8th Ave. NE, Minot, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Marion was born on October 9, 1908 in Ellendale, ND, the daughter of Sandy and Carrie (Fals) Van Horn. She was reared and educated in the Maxbass area. On November 6, 1930 she married Arthur Rosenthal in Bottineau. On June 26, 1943 they bought a farm in Bottineau County, rural Maxbass and farmed their entire adult lives there. Her husband died on April 12, 1986 and she moved into Minot in the fall of 1986. She later moved into Somerset Court in Minot and then Trinity Homes.

Survivors: sons, Harold Rosenthal and his friend Mary Ann Fitchner, both of Minot, Bernard Rosenthal and his wife, Carol, Minot; daughter, Janet Roberts and her husband, Jim, Maxbass, ND; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Earl Van Horn and his wife, Peggy, Maxbass; several nieces and nephews survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter-in-law, Clarice Rosenthal, granddaughter, Connie Rosenthal, great-granddaughter, Alicia Branson; brother, Les Van Horn.

Funeral: Friday, April 25, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND

Visitation: Thursday, today, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.
