Frances Roberts • 1918 - 2005

Frances Roberts, 87, Minot, died Saturday, June 04, 2005, in a Minot hospital.

She was born on March 22, 1918, in Westhope, ND, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa (O'Hara) O'Connor. She was reared and educated in Westhope and graduated from Westhope High School. She attended college at St. Benedict in Collegeville, MN, and later attended Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND.

Frances worked as a secretary for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department in Bismarck, ND, Westland Oil Company, in Minot, and later Minot State University where she met Cecil. Frances and Cecil where married in 1946, and in 1966, they made there home in Minot. Cecil died on November 4, 1996, in Minot.

Frances was a member of St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, Minot, St. Andrews Catholic Church Westhope, and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers in Westhope.

Survivors: several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil and her parents.

Memorials preferred to St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, Minot.

Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, Minot.

Visitation: Monday, June 6, 2005, from Noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: Monday, June 6, 2005, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
