Norman Rink • 1928 - 2007 He was born on April 16, 1928 in Ryder, ND a son of Fred and Minnie (Sather) Rink. He was raised and educated in the Ryder area and spent most of his life in North Dakota. He worked on several area farms and ranches, including those of Paul Damberger and John Hollarn. He was an excellent horseman and enjoyed riding. He enjoyed his many friends. He was married to Clara Bellanger in Washburn, ND in 1947. Norman is survived by his two daughters, Sandra Cornelius of Minot and Adella "Dee" Tudor of Tualation, OR; a sister Pearl Davick of Everett, WA; grandchildren David and Brian Gates, Kimberly Grant, Edith, Dawson and Nincole Mountain and Harmony Cornelius Letisha and Malik Gardon and Scott Spotted Horse; great grandchildren Andrews, Pedro, Angelita, Francisco and Alissa Streans, Dylan and Gabriel Mountain, Arianna LaRue, Jazzy Bell and DeJa Flanders. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara, his parents, a granddaughter Carmen Mountain, a brother Ralph Rink and a nephew Floyd Rink. His ashes will be sprinkled at his home in the Ryder area. There will be no formal services. |
