Henry "Hank"
W. Redyke 1932 - 2009 Hank was born on November 13, 1932, a son of Henry and Florence Redyke in Wycoff, New Jersey. He was raised and educated in New Jersey. On February 13, 1951, he enlisted into the US Army. He proudly served his country receiving the Korea Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation (ROK), United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Medal, before being honorably discharged on February 4, 1955. On April 22, 1968, he was united in marriage to Anne Traynor in Connecticut. They made their home in various locations throughout the US settling in Bay County Florida, where Hank worked with the Bay County Sherriff's department. They recently moved to Minot to be closer to family. Those who shared his life: Wife of 40 years, Anne, Minot; son: John (Kimberly) Redyke, Houston, TX; daughters: Sharon Hollingsworth, Indianapolis, IN, Cindy (Corey) Harvey, Minot, Karen Franko, New Jersey; twelve grandchildren: Joseph, Heather, Alan, Jennifer, Sean, James, Jon, Austin, Jakob, Aidan, Kim and Amy; numerous great-grandchildren; sister: Alice Conklin, New Jersey; Hank was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Service: Friday, February 20, 2009 at 10 am at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot Visitation: There will be no reviewal, however friends may sign a register on Friday, one hour prior to service time.
