Larry Ramsdell • 1939 - 2007 Larry Lee Ramsdell was born January 10, 1939, the son of Zina and Alice (Jackson) Ramsdell on the family farm located in Fairbanks Township of Renville County, rural Norma, ND. He was raised on the family farm and educated in Norma and Kenmare. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Kenmare, ND. Following his schooling, he continued to reside with his parents on the family farm. Larry then continued to help with the family farm when his brother, Gene, took over the daily operations. He continued in that capacity until moving into the Kenmare Baptist Home. He had resided there for 28 years. He was a former member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Kenmare, and currently a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Kenmare. Larry was a gentle soul. He loved his family and enjoyed keeping track of where they were and what was going on in their lives. He loved animals, especially dogs, and reading the Bible. He also enjoyed hunting, playing bingo, watching college sports on TV, and politics. Surviving family includes: sisters, Janet F. (Bill) Otten, Lynnwood, WA, and Shirley C. (Kenneth) Nelsen, Everett, WA; brothers, Gene J. Ramsdell, Kenmare, ND, and Harlan Z. (Marie) Ramsdell, Creswell, OR; sister-in-law, Carol Jean Ramsdell, Minot, ND; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth H., Gerald L., Deral L., Denny B., Rodney D. Ramsdell; an infant brother, Baby Boy Ramsdell; and an infant sister, Janice K. Ramsdell.
