Beverly A. Rahn • 1937 - 2010 Beverly Signalness was born June 28, 1937 in Glenwood, MN, to Oscar and Hannah (Swensrud) Signalness. At a young age she moved to Minot with her family, where she was raised and attended school. Beverly worked in the motel industry her entire life, which took her to Williston, Underwood and back to Minot, where she retired as Housekeeping Manager from Days Inn in 1986. Loved by so many who knew her, with her great sense of humor and smile that made her journey through life a joy to all. Bev enjoyed making quilts, baking, bingo, music, decorating and playing cards. Those who were privileged to share in her life will deeply mourn her loss. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Moose Lodge, both in Minot. Those who shared in her life, children, Tim (Pam) Rahn, Missouri, Deb Bockness, California, Steve (Deb) Rahn, Garrison, ND, and Sandy (Brent) Fisher, Minot; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Knudson, Bismarck, ND, and Deloris Stenvold, Minot; sister-in-law, Gloria Signalness, Minot; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Andrew Foss; grandson, Tim Rahn, Jr.; brothers, Dean and Raymond Signalness; sister-in-law, Delores Signalness; brothers-in-law, Joseph Stenvold and Edwin Knudson; nephews, Bob Signalness and Dewayne Stenvold. Funeral: Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot, ND. Visitation: Tuesday, December 7, 2010, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
