Tristen D. Rakness 2003 - 2003

Tristen D. Rakness, three month old son of Katrina Rakness and Isaac Boger, died Saturday in a Minot hospital.

He was born on April 22, 2003, in Minneapolis, MN. At three days old, he had surgery to repair the left ventricle of his heart. He got to come home to live with his mom on July 5, 2003. He will be remembered for his big smiles and how he loved to flirt with grandma and mom. He was a fighter from the beginning and will be missed by all.

Survivors: mother, Katrina Rakness, Minot; father, Isaac Boger, Kuwait; maternal grandparents, Sonja Rakness, Minot and Duane Rakness, Dickinson; paternal grandparents, Estella Boger, Fargo and Robin Boger; maternal great-grandparents, Donna and Raymond Amrein and Pat and Lyle Rakness, all of Minot; aunt, Kayla Rakness, Minot; uncle, Carl Boger, Minot and Godparents, Elizabeth Wright and Bryon Rollman.

Funeral: Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Visitation: Wednesday from noon until 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 until service time at Thompson-Larson funeral Home.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
