DeLores N. Pritchett 1926 - 2007

DeLores N. Pritchett, 80, widow of James (Jim) W. Pritchett, died Sunday, February 11, 2007 in Columbia SC. That Sunday afternoon, Jim reached down from Heaven, gently held her hand and pulled her into his loving arms for one eternal waltz.

Mrs. Pritchett was born April 17, 1926 in Little Deep Township, ND to Fred and Olga (Zabel) Amon. She grew up in Maxbass, ND and graduated as class Valedictorian from Maxbass High School. After graduation she was employed by the Soil Conservation Offices in Maxbass and Havre, MT. She then moved to Minot, ND and was employed with Union National Bank.

She married James "Jim" Pritchett on June 14, 1947 in Sidney, MT. They lived in Minot and were partners with Harold Howard in City Plumbing and Heating until Jim retired in 1990. They shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. They loved to dance and shared many adventures traveling with friends and family over the years. Her beloved Jim passed away in January of 1991. She continued to dance by joining friends in line dancing in the Minot area.

She moved to Dayton, OH in 1998 and lived at 10 Wilmington Place where she enjoyed her family and friends. She moved to Columbia, SC in 2005 and resided at The Waterford. Her beautiful smile and quick step will be missed by all her friends.
DeLores left many dear friends in the Minot area.

Survivors include her children, Terry Pritchett and wife Sandy of Henderson, NV; Sherryl Spencer and husband Tim of Dayton, OH; Renae Coles and husband Jim of Columbia, SC and Larry Pritchett of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two brother-in laws. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim and her parents.

Funeral Service: Friday, February 23, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.

Visitation: Friday from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Hospice of Minot, ND or Palmetto Baptist Hospice of Columbia, SC.
