Terry Ray Pounds • 1960 - 2007

Terry Ray Pounds, 46, Minot, died Saturday, November 3, 2007, in a Minot hospital.

Terry was born on December 5, 1960, in Minot, ND, the son of Robert and Wyoma (Cogdill) Pounds. He was raised in Minot and graduated from Minot High School.
Terry attended Job Corps and worked as a firefighter in Montana for a short time. He worked at the Donut Hole in Minot in the mid-70's and worked there for many years before leaving and taking a position at the Minot Vocational Workshop as a baker. Terry entered the United States Army National Guard on March 28, 1980. He was honorably discharged on April 23, 1980.

Terry married Cheri Vedquam on February 14, 1998, at First Presbyterian Church, Minot. Terry worked at Marketplace Foods in Minot and was currently employed in the bakery at Miracle Mart, Minot.

Terry was a member of the 515 Club in Minot.

Those Who Shared In His Life: Wife of 9 years, Cheri, Minot; daughter, Crystal (Zachary) Hansen, Earlham, IA; three grandchildren; Victoria, Alexandar, Gabriel; mother, Wyoma Ingolfsland, Minot; brothers, Henry Pounds, Minot, Douglas Vasson, Ambrose, ND, Jerry Pounds, Glenburn, ND; sisters, Barb (Marvin) Clementich, Bonnie (Bert) Reynolds, Betty Clementich and Connie (Scott) Wermager, all of Minot; father and mother-in-law, Elroy (Pat) Vedquam, Minot; sister-in-law, Lisa (Steve) Hoffer, Minot; brother-n-law, Mike Vedquam, Minot; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert and step father, Leslie Ingolfsland.

Funeral Service: Friday, November 9, 2007, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Minot

Visitation: Thursday, November 8, 2007, from Noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
