Connie Potter • 1940 - 2007 Connie Joan Trulson was born on January 7, 1940, the daughter of Leonard and Esther (Nomeland) Trulson in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Stanley, ND. She graduated from Stanley High School in 1958. She then attended a beauty school in Bismarck, ND. Connie married Wayne Potter June 23, 1961, in Stanley, ND. They made their home in Minot for three years before moving to a farm near Norma, ND. They farmed that land for four years. In 1967, they purchased a farm in Denmark Township of Ward County, rural Kenmare, ND. They farmed small grains and raised livestock. She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Kenmare. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, bowling, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. Surviving family includes: husband of 45 years, Wayne, Kenmare; children, Darryl Potter, Rock Springs, WY; Dawn (Marlin) Mattern, Drayton, ND, Karla Potter (Gary Hinschberger), Moorhead, MN, and Kevin Potter, Wayne, NE; grandchildren, Shane and Danny Potter; Kristi (Craig) Ventzke and Brady Mattern; and Kara and Katie Potter; mother, Esther Trulson, Stanley, ND; brothers, Clayton (Cheryl) Trulson, Rapid City, SD, and Curt (Lesley) Trulson, Ross, ND; sisters, Carolyn (Duane) Pfeifer, Phoenix, AZ, and Cleone Lux, Phoenix, AZ; an aunt; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Leonard. Funeral: Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at
