Mamie Polniaszek 1928 - 2010 Mamie was born on December 7, 1928, daughter of Emil and Regina (Trottier) Erickson in St. John, ND. She was raised and educated in St. John. On October 5, 1947, Mamie was united in marriage to Bob Dickinson in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where Mamie worked at various restaurants. To this union two daughters Billie and Maureen were born. They later divorced. On March 9, 1959, Mamie was united in marriage to Al Kundert in Minot. They made their home Minot and Brainerd, MN. To this union two sons Val and Kye were born. They later divorced. In 1969, Mamie returned to Minot. On November 2, 1971, Mamie was united in marriage to John Polniaszek. They made their home in Minot, where Mamie enjoyed working in her garden, with her flowers, fishing, shopping and spending time with her family and her pets. Mamie was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Minot. Surviving relatives: Husband John, Minot; Daughters: Maureen (Richard) Zietz, Minot, Billie (Jim) Ralston, Moorhead, MN; Son: Kye (Joy) Kundert, Mapleton, ND; six grandchildren: two great-grandchildren: sisters: Gladys Bober, Littleton, CO, Ella Renz, Minot, June VanWinkle, Minot, Marie Wyrozynski, Minot, Dorothy Law, South Carolina, Delores Miles, Desert Springs, CA, Marlene Andrews, Blue Earth, MN; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, son Val, sister Myrtle Weltikol, brothers Vernon Erickson and James Erickson Visitation: Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 1 until 7 pm at Thompson Larson Funeral Home, Minot Funeral Service: Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Church, Minot Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
