Ardella Fern Poleschook, 75, Max, ND, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 in a Minot nursing care facility.

She was born on March 29, 1934 in Lonetree, ND a daughter of Samuel T. and Edna P. (Ford) Etter. She was raised and educated in Lonetree and graduated as Valedictorian of Lone Tree High School in 1952.

She worked for a short time at the Woolworth Dime Store in Minot.

She married Carl Poleschook on June 12, 1953 at the First Baptist Church, Minot. After their marriage, they lived and farmed near Max, their entire married lives.

Ardella loved to garden and spend time on the farm with her family. She liked to dance at the Moose Club, going on fishing trips in Canada, and visiting family in Colorado and California. Ardella was an excellent cook and canner, loved to play cards and BINGO and do embroidery.

Survivors: husband, Carl Poleschook, Max; sons, Cordell (Patty) Poleschook, Max and Randy Poleschook, Max, granddaughters, Jennifer (George) Taylor, Mims, Florida, Joann (Keven) Arrington, Minot, grandson, Matthew Poleschook, Max, one great grandson, Nicholas, living in Florida; sister, Eileen Emmert, Phoenix, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND

There will be no reviewal but friends may sign a register book at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
