Pierson 1920 - 2005 Zelda "Sally" Pierson, 84, Emerald Court, 520 28th Ave. SE , Minot, died Monday, February 14, 2005 in a Stanley Nursing home. Zelda Hill was born October 17, 1920 in Belden, ND,. the daughter of William and Mary (Nimietalo) Hill. She attended country school up until the eight grade, when she helped out on the family farm. In 1953, Zelda was united in marriage to Clayton "Pete" Pierson. . They made their home in Wyoming for a time, before moving to Minot. Clayton passed away on August 1, 1991. Zelda continued to live in Minot, moving in to Emerald court, where she met and made many friends, then in February she entered the Stanley nursing home.. She is survived by: Daughter: Sharon (Gary) Leet, Chanhassen, MN; Grandchildren: Sarah (Wayde) Storkson, Surrey, ND; Nicholas Leet, St. Louis Park, MN; Great Grandchildren: Abbey Rose Storkson, and a "little guy to come." Sisters: Irene Anderson, Ross, ND; Toini Hovland. Minot, ND; Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents. William and Mary, husband, Clayton, brothers: Ervin and John, and sisters: Esther, Lempi and Ina Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign a register book from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
