Robert L. Peterson 1927 - 2005

Robert L. Peterson, 78, Minot, formerly of Bowbells, died Friday, October 7, 2005 in a Minot nursing home.

Robert L. Peterson was born on January 23, 1927, the son of John and Gladys (Marks) Peterson, in Northgate. He was reared and educated in Northgate, attending school graduating from Northgate High School.

On September 27, 1947 Robert was united in marriage to Clarann Frick in Plentywood, MT. Following their marriage, the couple farmed in the Northgate area. Robert also worked in the oil fields in the Lignite area for a time. They enjoyed spending their winters in Texas. Clarann passed away in 1990. Following Clarann's death, Robert continued living in Northgate area, before moving to Minot in 1992.

He is survived by: Sons: Terry Peterson and his wife JoAnn, Hazen, ND; Steven Peterson and his wife Jonell, Bowbells, ND; daughter in law: Jackie Peterson, Bowbells; sisters: Betty (Richard) Frick, Minot; Beverly Schneider, Portland Oregon; grandchildren: Kristina (Andy) Wells, Traci, Jason and Mike Brunner, Pam (Brad) Palmer, Jennifer (Al) Haugland, Brian (Jennifer) Peterson, Wendy Peterson, Ronda (Eric) Kordick, Justin Peterson and Kayla Peterson.
Great grandchildren: Kyra, Joren, and Brennan Palmer, Kaiden Peterson, Brianna, Brooke and Hunter Peterson, and Collin Kordick Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, wife, Clarann, son Bob, brother Raymond, and brother-in-law, Mike Schneider.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 11, 2005 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Bowbells.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Bowbells, ND.

Burial: Bowbells Cemetery, Bowbells, ND
