Adela E. Peterson • 1910 - 2005 Adela E. Peterson, 94, 305 8th Ave. NE, Minot, ND, longtime South Prairie resident, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2005, at Trinity Homes in Minot. Adela Erna Knute was born on November 19, 1910, the daughter of Paul and Emma (Rathje) Knute in South Haven, Minnesota. She was the fourth of ten children. She was raised and educated in the South Haven area. Adela married V. LeeRoy Peterson on June 26, 1946, in Sidney, Montana. LeeRoy passed away August 18, 1997. Surviving family includes: grandsons, Kevin (Roxy) Kelly, Minot, and Dennis Kelly, Colorado; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Freimuth, Duluth, MN; and Marie Wurm, Monticello, MN; sisters-in-law, Pearl Knute, Annandale, MN, Helen Peterson, Minot, and Harriet Mikkelson, Minot; brother-in-law, Harold Pittman, Monticello, MN; son-in-law, John Kelly, Mesa, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Adela was preceded in death by her parents; husband, son, Vernon Storlie, daughter, Delores (Storlie) Kelly, granddaughter, Debra Jean (Nustad) Poharelou, and great-granddaughter, Christal Poharelou. Funeral: Saturday, September 3, 2005, at 2:00 p.m.
