Amy Penfold • 1966 - 2009 Amy Suzanne Penfold was born December 3, 1966, the daughter of Ronald and Carol (Donoho) Penfold in Urbana, IL. The first eight years of her life were spent in Mahomet IL where she attended grade school. There were always fun times spent with her parents, grandparents, sister and friends whether it be singing with her grandmother, Kak, hanging out with her sister and friends or hunting for worms to go fishing. She loved to go fast in her dad’s cars. In 1976 the family moved to Wheeler AFB HI. It was here that she got a taste for Chinese food, went to the beaches and attractions, and watched outdoor movies. In 1979, the family moved to Ft. Worth TX. She attended school at Como Middle and Arlington High school. It was here that she attended the 1st of several Rolling Stones concerts. Then in June1982, she and her parents moved to Minot where she attended Central Campus and Magic City Campus and graduated with the class of 1985. She enjoyed music, concerts, friends and family. Surviving family includes: Parents, Ron and Carol, Minot; sister Lisa Estrada, Decatur TX; nieces, Zoe and Serena, Decatur TX; maternal grandfather, Charles Donoho, Mt. Vernon IL, paternal grandmother, Margaret Kremin, Kingman AZ; and her longtime friend, Glen Jevne, Minot. Amy was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Kathleen Donoho; paternal grandfather, Arthur Penfold. Funeral: will be held at a later in Mt. Vernon IL.
