Matthew Jaccob Pasch 2009 - 2010

Matthew Jaccob Pasch PhotoMatthew Jaccob Pasch, 3-1/2 month old son of Michael Jaccob Pasch and Katrina Alice Pasch, died Thursday, February 18, 2010, in a Minot hospital.

Matthew was born on October 31, 2009, at Trinity Health in Minot. He made his home with his parents and his grandmother, Markaye Brandt-Hanson, and aunts in Upham, North Dakota.

Matthew enjoyed taking baths and loved splashing in the water.  A couple of his favorite things were to listen to the sound of people singing and talking to him, as well as the sound of guitar. One of the best ways to make him laugh would be for his father to attempt beat boxing. He would actually become quite upset if it wasn’t "up to his standards."  He really enjoyed listening to the "Star Spangled Banner" and "Strawberry Wine", which he first heard his mother sing before he was born. The "Bubble Lullaby" song was also one of his favorites.  He enjoyed the companionship of his grandma and aunts.

He brought joy to the lives of those around him and even touched the hearts of people who met him only once. His smile was mesmerizing and his laugh would bring a smile to anyone's face. With his "pouty" face that could always make you laugh; which we believe was his intention.
Within the few amazing months he got to spend with us, he brought extreme joy and happiness.  His presence will be sincerely missed and remembered forever.  He will remain in all of our hearts forever.

Those who shared in his life:  Parents Michael and Katrina Pasch, Upham, ND;  maternal grandmother Markaye Brandt-Hanson, Upham;  paternal grandmother Carey Booth, Upham;  paternal grandfather Paul (Mona) Booth, Clear Lake, SD;  paternal grandfather Mike Pasch, Iowa;  great-grandparents Mary Sather, Minot, Myron Brandt, Upham, Amy Nickel, SD, Ray and Ellen Pasch, MN.  Aunts; Kayla, Katie and Madison.  Uncles; Lee, Jason, Ryan, Matt, Timothy.  Great-aunts and uncles; Marisa (and Eric) Folstad and there kids Brittney Raylea, Emmett, Bill (and Amy) Emmel and their son Levi, and Tammy (and Monte) Nickel.
