Orville Otto Orville enlisted in the United States Army July 24, 1953. He proudly served his country during the Korean War and was honorably discharged July 2, 1956. Orville married Lilly T. Nelson July 18, 1964, in Minot. They made their home in Velva, but traveled throughout the United States because of his career as a journeyman electrician/welder. Lilly passed away May 13, 1990. Following his wife's death, he continued to reside in Velva. He was a member of IBEW Local #122 of Great Falls, MT. He was also a member of the Velva American Legion Post # 39 for 39 years. He was an avid fisherman, and also enjoyed hunting, gardening, playing pool, dancing, and reading, especially Louis L'Amour books. He especially enjoyed tinkering with antique furniture and Ford vehicles. Surviving family includes: sisters, Joyce (Gerald) Tiegen, Albany, OR, and Carol (Gerald) Reif, Garrison, ND; brother, Kenneth (Helen) Otto, Minot; special friend, Edward Libke, Velva; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, and cousins. Orville was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lilly; sisters, Wanda Brevig, Julia Sandberg, and Sharon Klimpel; and brothers, William, Jr., Gordon, and Albert Otto. He was also preceded in death by his special dog, Sam. Funeral: Thursday, June 19, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at
