Dennis O'Shea 1923- 2008 Dennis Bernard O'Shea was born July 12, 1923, in Blackwater Township, McLean County, ND, to Joseph O'Shea, Sr. and Elvera (Klinkhammer) O'Shea. He attended school in the O'Shea School District #44 and St. Nicholas High School in Garrison, ND. Dennis married Ella Engel September 26, 1944, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Garrison, ND. During the 1940's, Dennis farmed, hauled poles for the REA and worked at the Garrison Dam. In 1949, Dennis joined the Plumber/Pipefitter Union and worked construction on various power plants throughout the United States until his retirement in 1985. Dennis and Ella raised four boys in Minot, where all four graduated from Bishop Ryan High School. Dennis enjoyed camping and hunting with his family and in his retirement years enjoyed golfing. He also enjoyed playing pinochle with his friends at the Knights of Columbus Club in Minot. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot, Knights of Columbus, and the Local 300 Pipefitters Union. His loving family includes: wife of 64 years, Ella, Minot; sons, Terry (Sandy) O'Shea, Velva, ND, Mike O'Shea, Las Vegas, NV, Kelly (Jan) O'Shea, Homosassa, FL, and Greg (Carol) O'Shea, Bismarck, ND; ten grandchildren, Todd (Ellen) O'Shea, Reading, PA, Rob (Patty) O'Shea, Velva, Denise (Josh) Wolf, Minot, Jim O'Shea, Nashville, TN, Tom O'Shea, Nashville, TN, Terri Ann O'Shea, Columbia, TN, Amanda O'Shea, Mesquite, NV, Theresa (Donovan) Brothen, Colorado Springs, CO, Calli O'Shea, Bismarck, and Cate O'Shea, Bismarck; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph (Alice) O'Shea, Jr., Lodi, CA, Robert (Florence) O'Shea, Turtle Lake, ND, and Daniel (Beverly) O'Shea, Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Ellie Odom, Warner Robbins, GA, and Bea Rodgers, Minot; and many nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Elvera O'Shea; brothers, George and John O'Shea; and sister, Mary Doble. Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, October 30, 2008,
