Nickolas James Olson • 1980 - 2011 Nick was born September 26, 1980 in Minot, ND, to Charles and Geri (Vise) Olson. He was raised in Burlington and went to school there. He received his GED in May of 1998. He leaves behind not only his parents and three brothers who loved him very much, but also a new family, Amber and her two daughters had become his world, as he was theirs. Nick had faced and dealt with many obstacles in his life to become a wonderful person who was smart and talented. His art work and his short story, “Patricia” will be greatly treasured by us. Those who shared in his life, Parents, Charles and Geri Olson; brothers, Todd (Sarah) Olson, Rich (Tammy) Olson and Joe Olson; fiancée, Amber Uskiewicz and her daughters, Autumn and Cheyenne Rose; nieces, Cassie, Devin, Elizabeth, Kiersten and Mya; nephews, Tyler, Zack and Jeric, all of Minot; maternal grandmother, Eleanor Vise, Burlington, ND and paternal grandmother, Evelyn Olson, Holdingford, MN; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbert Vise, Charles E. Olson and Olive M. Hanson Olson. Funeral: Friday, January 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pioneer Chapel at First Lutheran Church, Minot, ND. Visitation: Thursday, January 20, 2011, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Officiating Clergy: Rev.
