Curtiss A. Olson • 1935 - 2011 Curtiss Allen Olson was born April 20, 1935, a son of Bennie H. and Esther A. (Rustad) Olson, in Minot, ND. He was raised and attended school in Minot. In 1950, he moved to Grafton, ND, where he attended the Grafton State School until it closed. He then made his home in Grand Forks, ND, until 1995, he moved back to Minot, where he attended Bethany Lutheran Church. Most recently, he had been a resident at Trinity Homes, where he enjoyed going to Church. He enjoyed going to the 2nd Story, who were very helpful to him. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially Kings Corner and Whist; and traveling, especially to Branson, Missouri, California, and Lake Metigoshe. He was very outgoing, well liked, and had a good sense of humor. He loved people and never criticized or said anything bad about someone. Surviving family includes: brothers, Arthur Olson, Grand Forks, Kenneth (Esther) Olson, Minot, and Gordon (Helen) Olson, San Clemente, CA; sisters-in-law, Lillian Olson, Minot, and Phyllis Olson, Bismarck; brother-in-law, Ross Van Sickle, Phoenix, AZ; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Due to the evacuation of Trinity Homes, there will not be a time of fellowship and refreshments. Our family would like to thank all of you for your many acts of kindness.
