Berniece V. Olson • 1927 - 2002 Berniece V. Olson, 74, 501 11th St. NW, Minot, died Friday, April 26, 2002, in her home. She was born on October 12, 1927, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Clarence and Rosella (Watland) Hill. She was raised and educated in Minot and attended Minot Model School. After high school, she worked and helped her parents in the family restaurant business. She worked at several different jobs throughout her career in Minot. She married Milford Olson on May 5, 1969, in Minot. They resided in Minot their entire married lives. She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minot. Survivors: husband Milford; daughter, Kayleen (Susan) Nelsen, Minot; stepchildren, Richard and wife Sheila, Mark and wife Bonnie, Timothy and wifeVerna, Paul and James Olson, and Judy Kim; six grandchildren, Kevin and wife Valerie, Robyn, Derrick, Michelle, Daniela, and Michael; one great-grandchild, McKenzie. Her parents, son Laney, and brother Kermit preceded her in death. Funeral: Wednesday, May 1, 2002, 10:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND Visitation: Tuesday, April 30, 2002, from noon to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
