Bobbie was born on April 11, 1935, in Baudette, MN, the daughter of Elmer and Gunberg (Swanson) Lundervold. She moved with her parents from Baudette to Upham, ND, where she was raised, educated and graduated from Upham High School in 1953. She attended Minot State College for one semester. She lived and worked at various jobs in the Minot and Velva, ND areas. She also assisted her father, Elmer, with the operation of his grain farm near Upham. She married Wallace Amon in 1953. They were later divorced. Bobbie lived in Velva from 1968 to 1984. She was once married to Jack Odegard. She moved to Dickinson, ND, for a short time, and then she moved to Arizona. She lived in several cities in Arizona from 1985 to 2002. She worked at the Edgewater Casino in Laughlin, NV, for over 10 years. She also worked at Walmart for a time before her retirement. Following her retirement due to ill health, she returned to Minot. Even though this time was short, she enjoyed being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and family. Her concern and compassion for her family was always present even though she had lived away for several years. Bobbie was a former member of Oak Valley Lutheran Church, Velva, and a volunteer of the Elks Lodge, Minot. She was an avid gardener and took great pride in growing her flowers and vegetables. She loved spending time on the farm with her cattle and livestock, and after leaving the farm, still considered herself a true farm girl. In later years, Bobbie enjoyed her collection of handmade Kachina dolls, her travels and trips with her family, especially those with Lillian and John, and her special relationships with co-workers from the Edgewater Casino and Walmart.
