Marlyce Nystrom • 1942 - 2010 Marlyce Lorraine Nystrom was born November 9, 1942 in Kenmare, ND, the daughter of Alvin and Agnes (Lindberg) Nystrom. She grew up in Niobe, ND and moved to Kenmare in 1971 with her mother. In 2001 they moved to Isanti, Minnesota. Marlyce was a member of Elmdale Lutheran Church in Niobe where she was active in the ladies aid. The most special part of her life was her family and her nieces and nephews. Marlyce’s hobby was collecting dolls and she had a large collection. She enjoyed playing cards, visiting with family and friends on the telephone and she loved taking care of little Abby. Marlyce was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Milo. She is survived by two sisters, Carol (Curtis) Strand, Princeton, MN and Jeanette (Jack) Devitt, Isle, MN; sister-in-law, Valeria Nystrom, Fargo, ND; by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral: Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmdale Lutheran Church, Niobe, ND. Visitation: Wednesday, one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial: Lakeview Cemetery, Kenmare, ND.
