Naoma J. Nason 1938 - 2011 Naoma Jean Grubb was born October 15, 1938 in Isaban, West Virginia to Albert and Atheline (Cline) Grubb. She was raised and attended school in Isaban. On October 27, 1956 Naoma married Paul M. Nason, Jr. in Sanford, Maine. Her husband Paul made his career in the United States Air Force and they were stationed at Westover Air Force Base in Massachusetts, Goose Bay, Labrador, Kadena, Okinawa, McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, and back to Kadena, Okinawa, and to the Minot Air Force Base, where her husband retired in 1976. Naoma truly enjoyed living in different cities and seeing different parts of the world. Naoma and Paul moved to Sanford Maine, where she worked at Nike and later Sprague Electric. In the late ‘80s the couple moved back to Minot to be near family. Her husband Paul passed away on March 12, 2005. Naoma continued to live in Minot and recently entered Trinity Homes, where she enjoyed an occasional game of Bingo. Those who shared in her life, children, Jackie (Wesley) Brandt, Michael (Donna) Nason, all of Minot, and Millie (Edward) McParlin, Leesburg, FL; seven grandchildren, Paul Nason, Sarah (Jeff) Bradford, Joe Rothschiller, Virginia Goodwin, Shelley (Chris) Thurow, Alan Brandt and Wesley Brandt, Jr.; six great-grandchildren, Nathan Goodwin, Tamra Brandt, Sarah Brandt, Aiyanna Fuller, Hannah Brandt and Lilly Bradford; brother, Harry (Karen) Grubb of Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Naoma was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; grandson, Jeremy Nason; her parents; brothers, Nick and Judd Grubb; sisters, Mary Hall and Rosie Cline. Funeral: Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Visitation: Friday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial: Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Officiant: Rev.
