Bernice "Bea" Myhre, 79, Wahpeton, ND, formerly of Minot, ND, died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge, MN.

Bernice A. Yri was born on Sept. 16, 1928, the daughter of Arthur and Beret (Helgeseth) Yri at Brinsmade, ND. She attended school in Brinsmade. Bernice worked as a dental assistant to Dr. E. O. Yri in Minnewaukan before her marriage to Kenneth Myhre. Bernice and Kenneth were united in marriage in Leeds, ND, on August 19, 1951. They moved to Minot and lived there for their entire married life. Bernice was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church in Minot. After Kenneth died in 1998, Bernice continued to live in Minot for several more years. Because of health issues Bea moved to Grand Forks to be closer to her family in August of 2004. In November of 2005, Bea moved to St. Catherine's Living Center in Wahpeton, ND, where she lived until the time of her death.

Bea is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Robert) Kuster, Pembina, ND, daughter, Debra (Earl) Schouweiler, Fairmount, ND; grandchildren, Scott (Jill) Kuster, Thompson, ND, Stacy (Ben) Hoiland, Thompson, ND, Ryan (Zoe) Kuster, Avon, IN, Amanda Schouweiler, Mandan, ND, and Bart (Katie) Schouweiler, Grand Forks, ND; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Christopher Hoiland, and Katelyn Kuster, all of Thompson, ND; brother, Ted (Maxine) Yri, Leeds, ND, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; sister, Gina; and brothers, Robert, Ray, Arnold, Vernon, and Victor.

Funeral: Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Prayer Service: Monday at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
