Donald G. Muus • 1931 - 2007 Donald G. Muus was born on August 29, 1931, on the family farm near Velva, ND, the son of Harold and Eva (Catulla) Muus. He graduated from Minot High School in 1949. On August 30, 1949, he enlisted into the United States Army. He proudly served his country during the Korean War, being honorably discharged on November 26, 1951. On December 13, 1968, he was united in marriage to Mollie Bayfield. Don worked for the National Cash Register for 21 years and then for Souris River Telephone for 20 years, retiring in 1995. He is survived by: Don was preceded in death by his parents, son Paul and nephew Patrick. In accordance with Don's wishes, there will not be a memorial service, but friends may sign a register book on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Those wishing to visit with the family, may do so from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Burial: A private burial will take place at a later time. Memorials are preferred to the Trinity Hospice program.
