Dennis A. Murphy, 63, of Wilson, Texas, formerly of Minot, passed away in his home on Tuesday, April 18, 2006.

Dennis was born May 15, 1942 in Minot, ND, to Eugene L. and Velma (Sloan) Murphy. He was a graduate of Bishop Ryan High School in Minot. Dennis worked various construction jobs in and around the Minot area before moving to Seattle and going to work for Boeing Aircraft. Dennis retired in 1999 after working 33 years for Boeing Aircraft in the Seattle, Washington area.

He is survived by 4 brothers, Eugene, Jr. and Michael Murphy of Minot;
Timothy Murphy of Bismarck, Jim Murphy and wife Sandy of Minot; 3 sisters,
Mary Ketelle and husband Tom of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rose Bjelland and husband
Stan of Minot, and Janet Murphy of Minot; and his good friend, Duane Bowen
of Wilson; aunt, Laura Auen, Mott, ND. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.,

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, John and Thomas
Murphy; sister, Patricia Murphy Francis; infant sister, Eleanor Murphy; and
brother-in-law, Bob Francis.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Tuesday, April 25, 2006, from noon until 7:00 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
