Mike J. Mosser 1920 - 2007 Mike was born on December 11, 1920, in Karlsruhe, ND, the son of Benjamin and Ottilla (Ott) Mosser. He was raised and educated in Karlsruhe. Mike went to work for the Civilian Conservation Corps working in Washington and Montana. He married Margaret Burkhardt on October 9, 1945, in Berwick, ND. The couple made their home in Minot where Mike worked as a carpenter. He went to work at Minot State University as a maintenance man for over 20 years until he retired due to medical reasons. Mike was a member of the St. Leo's Catholic Church, the Moose Lodge and the Knights of Columbus all in Minot. Mike loved fishing and playing cards especially pinochle and whist. Survivors: wife of 61 years, Margaret, Minot; children, VaLarie Mosser, Chanhassen, MN, Virgil Mosser, Minot, Yvonne (Wayne) Washburn, Arlington, VA, Victor Mosser and his fiancé Sandy Bland, Bemidji, MN, Vern (Sharon) Mosser, Kennewick, WA, Dale Mosser and his significant other, Arlene Gagne, Minot, Diane (Todd) Myers, Atlanta, GA, Duane Mosser, Anamosa, IA, and Blaine (LaDonna) Mosser, Portland, OR; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Bennie Mosser, Minot; sisters, Betty Lanning, Othlow, WA and Theresa Deibert, Minot, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Ottilla, daughter, Vicki Mar, brothers, Tony, Wendelin, Richard and Steve Mosser and sisters, Frances Heilman, Veronica Schiele, Helen Hilzendager and Margaret McLeod. Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot Visitation: Monday, October 8, 2007, from Noon until 7 p.m. with at Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
